The past 2 times weve been it has bee awful! 6 of us went for some drinks, we are all over 18 and had our ID to prove it but the staff are VILE! As soon as we walk in we got dirty looks and that continued through the night even though we did nothing wrong? Not only that but at 10:30 one member of staff said to us these seats are for people who are drinking! We had 5 empty glasses that hadnt been removed from the table and 3 half full drinks, but we were told we couldnt be there? Not like we had been there since 6pm buying drinks all night or anything? So to end it the staff are rude and disrespectful so they have now lost 10 customers and more as our family members who have been going there for years because its our local pub cannot believe how we got treated!
This is such a wonderfully friendly local pub with restaurant area. I often visit for the Sunday carvery, the food is fantastic, all freshly made, choice of meats and a great selection of veg & potatoes. Desserts also available. Great service, great value for money, great atmosphere, family friendly. I would highly recommend this establishment. It's always a good idea to book a table in advance as it does get very busy.
